Roe vs Wade Statement

The bible says in Psalm 139 that God forms life in the mother’s womb. This verse is a reminder of how precious life is to our Creator. For this reason, New Life Covenant celebrates the decision of the Supreme Court of the United States to overturn Roe vs Wade. Realizing that states now have the legislative power to make independent decisions around the issue of abortion, we pray that God’s will prevails. In that same vein, we realize that our work to share the love of Jesus Christ must continue. We must always show love and support for those who don’t see hope in their situation by being a reminder of God’s divine grace. Since the greatest assault on humanity is the lie that they are not loved, we at New Life Covenant Church are committed to loving and caring for all who are hungry, thirsty, estranged, unclothed, sick, and imprisoned (Matthew 25), by this everyone will know that we are disciples of Jesus (John 13).

We pray for repentance on behalf of our nation. We pray for the light of Jesus to shine on humanity, and we stand together in petitioning Jesus Christ to release His Spirit in the manifestation of healing and comfort.
