NLC Forum 2025

We’re thrilled to announce that what was previously known as the summit has a fresh new name: NLC Forum! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 6, and join us at our HP Campus (3400 W. Division) for a powerful day of inspiration, connection, and vision.

The Forum will bring together our entire church family from all campuses for a time of unity and renewal. You’ll hear from a dynamic guest speaker, take part in meaningful discussions, and join in vision casting as we seek the Lord’s direction for the future of our church. Together, we’ll celebrate what God has done and prepare our hearts for what He is about to do.

This is more than just an event—it’s a family gathering where you’ll be encouraged, challenged, and reminded that we are one body, moving forward in faith. Whether you’ve been with NLC for years or you’re new to our community, you belong in the conversation. Let’s come together, dream big, and press into all God has for us!

GUEST SPEAKER

Elly C. Marroquin currently serves as the national director of Christian Education and Discipleship for the General Council of the Assemblies of God, a role she stepped into on January 7, 2019. Before this appointment, she served as the Christian Education director for the Spanish Eastern District. Born in the Dominican Republic, Elly immigrated to the United States at age eight. It was through a church invitation that she and her mother connected with an Assemblies of God congregation, where she eventually accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior during a Girls Ministry meeting. Under the leadership of her pastor, Elly and her husband later planted a church in Garfield, New Jersey, where they pastored together for nineteen years.

In her national role, Elly leads efforts to support and equip local churches in carrying out the Great Commission—making disciples across diverse communities. Her office is committed to fostering a “Spirit-empowered Church” that grows both spiritually and numerically. Elly emphasizes systematic, intergenerational discipleship grounded in clear objectives, structured Bible study, and mentoring. She advocates for flexible, context-sensitive resources that help churches—from rural congregations to urban ministries—engage believers of various ages and stages in their spiritual journeys.
