OUR LIFE GROUP LEADERS

Torrence and Lynnette Brown
Torrence and Lynnette Brown have been members of New Life Covenant Church since 2016. They are the Life Group Ministry Directors for the Humboldt Park Campus. By using the small groups model, this couple identifies the needs of the church community and pairs members with impassioned hosts. They believe that establishing small groups makes the church smaller and, as a result, helps cultivate more personal relationships within the church community.

An activity or interest life group engages through hands-on activities like art, sports, or game nights. And although devotionals and prayer may be included, the main focus is on activities that encourage connection and spiritual growth.
A book study life group would focus on analyzing and discussing a particular book, which can be fiction or non-fiction.
A Bible study life group centers on the study of the Bible, exploring its teachings, verses, stories and theological principles. This life group type would be taught or facilitated by a Bible teacher (i.e. A New Life Covenant pastor/elder or NLTC teacher).
