LOCAL PASTOR WILL DEPART TO JAPAN WITH CONVOY OF HOPE
Rev. Wilfredo De Jesús is raising funds to purchase portable water filtration units to supply drinking water to families in Japan.
(Chicago) – In the next week, Rev. Wilfredo De Jesús of New Life Covenant Ministries will be departing with a team of men and women to Japan to address the needs of those recently affected by the devastation caused by the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear explosion. He is seeking the assistance of local Pastors and Chicagoans to aid in this important humanitarian relief effort.
“I know people are asking themselves how they could help; with a small donation of only $35, a water filtration unit could be purchased to eliminate the toxins from the water supply and making it safe drinking water. Millions have been without water for days, we could easily help survivors of this tragedy with a $35 donation to sponsor a water filtration unit,” stated Rev. De Jesús.
There are millions of vulnerable people, especially children and senior citizens in Japan that are struggling without electricity, heat and safe water. Drinking water is a precious commodity during devastations such as these, Chicagoans can make a difference, please consider helping us by donating $35 to http://www.convoyofhope.org/go/how/donate.
