Mission Statement
We offer various programs to assist individuals and families to move toward self-sufficiency and to overcome poverty and its ill-effects.
Purpose
Here at the Dream Center, we commit to loving the forsaken, remembering the forgotten, and pursuing the lost in our society. Unashamedly politically incorrect, we intentionally reach out to homeless, drug addicts, prostitutes, convicts, felons, and runaways. We welcome the battered and bruised, the hungry and poor. Regardless of race, ability, or gender – if you are black and blue you have come to the right place! Just like the rest of us, we want to welcome you home.
We do so not as people who have it all together, but as a work in progress ourselves. We share our own hope of restoration as daughters, sons, husbands, wives, sisters and brothers, as men, women and children made in the image of God. We believe that each person was created with a unique purpose and a plan for their lives. While no one is perfect, no one is worthless or a waste of space either. Each person is precious and has something valuable to share with the world.
This is true for you too! Whether you join us as a client or a volunteer, we cannot guarantee it will be easy, nor will it be comfortable. However, we hope that here at the Dream Center you find the safe space to heal, grow, and be challenged to a totally new life.
Scripture Verse
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
